How are our students imagining more just and sustainable futures in response to this pandemic present? What are their individual and collective “freedom dreams”?

Join SJSU student storytellers for an evening of personal stories and philosophical insights. These storytellers excavate their own lives for the philosophical nuggets that recognize our uniqueness, our connection, and our ability to use the tools of philosophy.  Come hear their life stories, and get inspired to reflect philosophically about your own!

The Center for Literary Arts is pleased to present Kate Folk, Spring 2024 Writer-in-Residence, in a reading from her bestselling story collection Out There. Kate Folk is the author of Out There (Random House ’22), a finalist for the California Book Award in First Fiction. She lives in San Francisco and is writing a novel.
