If I have problems with the wireless network, whom do I call for help?
Call the San Jose State University Help Desk at (408) 924-2377, or go to the Help Desk ticket Web portal and create a ticket requesting assistance. The hours the Help Desk is open are here. This means all wireless support and equipment is local to this campus."
Do I have to have a new password or user name to log on to the network?
No, the new arrangement will still use the same SJSUOne password and user name as was used before. You use your SJSUOne login and password to access the wireless network.
What areas are covered by the wireless network?
Most, but not all, of SJSU is covered by the SJSU wireless network. All wireless devices that support a browser and worked on the wireless network before should continue to work on the wireless network.
Are guest users of the wireless network able to use the network?
According to this Web Page, to obtain a guest account, a Staff or Facility member must request the account by calling the help desk at (408) 924-2340 to have a GWI ticket opened to the UTS Networking team.
Are public patrons of the MLK Library able to use the wireless network?
Yes, information on that is maintained at this Web site.
