The bonfire tradition has returned to San José State! Associated Students hosts this annual event on Tower Hall Lawn for the entire campus community, including alumni and friends are encouraged to attend this student event. Unlike traditional bonfires, this event contains a host of entertainment including fire dancers performing a ceremonial lighting of the bonfire. Check out Campus MovieFest, a new Homecoming tradition now in its third year. Each year over 1,500 students break into week-long teams to create, shoot, edit, and produce short films. These films are judged and finalists get to show their work at the Campus MovieFest Finale during Homecoming week. The finale in Morris Dailey auditorium is open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-serve. Alumni and friends are welcome to come and enjoy the "Fest."
