The California's Hazardous Substance Information and Training Act (the Right-To-Know Law) requires that all employees be provided with ready access to important health and safety information regarding hazardous substances on campus.

Hazardous waste from the University’s operations, including laboratories, must be managed according to all applicable regulations.

Before handling any hazardous materials and/or wastes, learn about proper disposal of expended or unwanted chemicals, hazardous waste labeling, segregation and secondary containment.
