What is Recreation Therapy?

Recreation Therapy involves treatment, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.

We work in diverse settings that include community programs, clinical settings, and commercial enterprises.

We serve our clients in clinical care by helping to restore, remediate, or rehabilitate in order to improve functioning and independence.

We serve our clients in community and nursing facilities by aiming to improve our client's quality of daily living. We aim to improve health and well being.

Where do we work? We work in interdisciplinary teams to advocate for and aide our client.
