Music at Menlo Chamber Music Festival and Institute are currently accepting applications for their summer internship program; this is a Special Event Planning and Hospitality Internship. This is a team of three interns and is a paid internship beginning June 25 and ending August 15. Interns will have the opportunity to learn skills in event planning, hospitality, customer relationship management, and food service business principles and practices, while expanding their breadth and depth of knowledge about what goes on behind the scenes at a major arts organization. Campus Special – Event Marketing Manager (2 weeks)
Campus Special - A national college marketing & advertising firm is looking for a responsible and active student on campus to directly manage the Event Marketing Team at San Jose State University. This is a paid position with a $150 project rate + $50 bonus opportunity for the management of the promotion and will open the door to other on-campus event marketing opportunities that we come across as the semester progresses (i.e.- Coca Cola, etc.)

This person is responsible for organizing a team of 6-8 students to help participate in the distribution of the coupon books and promotional materials sent to their campus. They will serve as a liaison to the university and partnering bookstore if applicable. In addition, scheduling the organized team members into workable shifts during peak traffic hours on campus and meeting social media marketing requirements including but not limited to- posting updates, photos, etc. through Facebook/Twitter. The program starts on the first day of classes and would run until the coupon books are 100% distributed (typically 1-2 weeks max). This resume builder looks very appealing to prospective employers.

The Glasshouse is looking for a few outstanding interns to support the launch of the South Bay's newest premium event center, located in downtown San Jose on the corner of West Santa Clara Street and Market Street. The Glasshouse will host corporate events, weddings, and social events in a high-profie, elegant and incredibly flexible space.
