Housing Information
Housing update as of 7/31/13:
San Jose State University (SJSU) University Housing Services has informed us that due to the high demand for on-campus housing, our residence halls and apartments have reached capacity. SJSU Housing is no longer accepting new applications for the 2013-2014 Academic Year.
Although SJSU University Housing Services receives cancellations throughout the summer, they do not anticipate receiving enough cancellations to provide space for all students currently on the paid waiting list. For this reason, SJSU University Housing Services is not accepting new applications for fall 2013-2014.
It is our understanding that freshmen who were required to live on campus, and applied by the May 1st deadline will be accommodated. All students who were required to live on campus, but did not apply for housing by May 1 will be added to the paid waiting list, and assigned as space becomes available.
If you are interested in applying for housing for the spring semester, please check back with University Housing Services office in October after SJSU has opened the spring application process.
Please direct any questions about living on-campus to University Housing Services. A statement from University Housing Services can also be downloaded here.
