Mandatory International Student Arrival Program
- Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 8:30 am–4 pm for all new F-1 international students in the Student Union Ballroom.
If you have not already attended an Immigration Document Check-in at IPS, please bring your immigration documents with you to the International Student Arrival Program. Failure to complete your required immigration check-in with IPS may put you in violation of your legal F-1 student status.
In addition to the mandatory International Student Arrival Program (August 14), undergraduate transfer students are required (ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS) to attend the Transfer Orientation program presented by SJSU Academic Advising and Retention Services prior to enrolling in classes. International students who cannot attend a Transfer Orientation for academic advising must contact the Next Steps Office directly either via their telephone number (408-924-2997) or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Next Steps Office will communicate with you regarding when and how that advising, and any required tests such as the ELM and EPT, will be provided for you prior to registration.
