The ISSS Office cannot provide advice on income tax filing. We suggest that you seek professional assistance from a tax specialist, or seek paid tax assistance from an online Non-Resident tax prep company, such as Sprintax or NR Tax Return.
The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and the Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free tax help for taxpayers who qualify. You can learn more about this on the IRS website. If you plan to see a volunteer tax help provider, you must call in advance to see if you qualify for free tax help, and to see if the volunteers can assist you with questions regarding non-resident taxes.
The Deadline to file 2014 Income Taxes is April 15, 2015.
