Skype with an SJSU student abroad and learn about the more than 200 program destinations to choose from. We will cover the in's and out's of studying abroad including program choices, financial aid, scholarships, and how to stay on track by fulfilling degree requirements abroad.

Landing a Job in the U.S.: Passport to Success

Listen to current students and alumni discuss how they landed a job in the U.S. This discussion will include panelists currently on CPT, OPT, STEM, and H1-B visas who will talk about their experience getting work authorization and entering the job field. The event is sponsored by the Career Center and the Office of International Student and Scholar Services.

International Student Matters for Faculty & Staff

What is a Form I-20? What is the difference between visa and visa status? Can international students work? Can they study part-time? Join this session to learn about key immigration terms and documents and to get an overview of the federal regulations and institutional policies international students are required to comply with while attending SJSU. Open to all SJSU faculty and staff.

 

H1-B Workshop
