The US Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook says that the job prospects for "Computer and Information Systems Managers" are "excellent" and expected to grow faster than average for other jobs from 2008-2018 at a 17% rate across all industries and a 45% rate for the industry categories that best describe Silicon Valley!
