Service & Support For:

A/V Equipment Assistance

If you need help operating any of the  A/V equipment in the classrooms, contact (408) 924-2867 or visit IRC 112. 

IMS will create an iSupport ticket for your issue with the in-room equipment. This allows you to send any correspondence to your assigned support technician. You will be notified once your issue is resolved

Wi-Fi Assistance If you need help accessing Wi-Fi or with your network connection, contact (408) 924-1530
Classroom Maintenance If you need help with heating, cooling, electrical, lighting, or furniture, contact (408) 924-1990
Start of the Semester Classroom Support During the first week of each semester we provide in-classroom support to ensure instructors  are comfortable utilizing the technology in Next Gen classrooms
Next-Generation Classroom Training The eCampus team holds Next-Generation Classroom training sessions prior to the beginning of the semester to ensure ease of use. If you have been scheduled in a Next Gen classroom (one of our most technologically advanced classrooms, equipped with teleconferencing and lecture capture capabilities), you must attend a training session provided by e-campus. The Instructional and Meeting Spaces’ (IMS) Classroom Support unit provides technical assistance for all of our adopted classrooms. It is located in IRC 112 (first floor). On the South East side of the DMH building.

When You Call ...

To best assist you with your urgent issue, please provide the support technician with the following information:

  • Your name or SJSUone/Tower ID Number
  • A quick description of your issue
  • Your computer model and Operating system
    • Examples:
      • MacBook Pro: High Sierra
      • Dell Laptop: Windows 10
  • Any extra equipment you are using (adapters, microphones, etc.)
  • IMS will create an iSupport  ticket for your issue with the in-room equipment. This allows you to send any correspondence to your assigned support technician. You will be notified once your issue is resolved.
