| Frosh residents of other states and international applicants | 3502 SAT or 842 ACT |
| All Transfer applicants minimum GPA | 2.60, or above |
| LOCAL* | Guaranteed offer of provisional admission to major or Undeclared major |
| NON-LOCAL** | Offer of provisional admission not guaranteed |
*LOCAL frosh: Graduate from high school in Santa Clara County
**NON-LOCAL frosh: Graduate from any high school outside of Santa Clara County
*LOCAL transfer: Majority of units earned at a college in Santa Clara or Santa Cruz Counties
**NON-LOCAL transfer: Majority of units earned at a college outside of Santa Clara or Santa Cruz Counties
