Contribute to SJSU's Jewish Studies Program

Tzedakah BoxSJSU's Jewish Studies Program is poised now to become a center of Jewish learning for the South Bay. The university is fully committed to the program; collaborative work is thriving between Hillel of Silicon Valley and the Jewish Studies program; and community members are showing their support by taking courses, attending Jewish Studies programs, and offering philanthropic gifts and resources.

Your generosity makes many good things possible.

Jewish Education

Because we are firmly committed to a quality Jewish Studies education at SJSU, we offer a wide range of Jewish Studies courses across the university. We are able to provide this important resource thanks to major gifts from Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley, Temple Emanu-El's Rabbi Gitin Memorial Fund, Eli Reinhard, Eda and Joseph Pell, Sheri and Paul Robbins, Sherri Sager, and many other members of our community.

Library

The Jewish Studies Program has received an excellent library of over 1,000 books from Rabbi Emeritus Steven Kaplan from Temple Beth Torah in Fremont. Read about the Jewish Studies Library dedication, which took place on October 18, 2012.

Interested in donating new or gently used books with Jewish content to the Library? Please contact Vicki Harrison.

You make a difference!

Community support is very much appreciated. This year especially, amid challenging financial times, you sustain Jewish Studies courses and programming.

We are an agency of the SJSU Tower Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization. Please send checks or credit card donations to the SJSU Tower Foundation, One Washington Square, San José, CA 95192. Please specify the Jewish Studies Program in a note accompanying your gift.
