Online Graduation Application Instructions

If you plan on graduating in Fall 2017, please follow the Late Paper Graduation Application Instructions.

The Spring/Summer 2018 Graduation Application cycle began on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 and concluded on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 am.  Students who met our deadline will receive priority registration for Spring 2018 while students who missed this deadline will not receive priority registration. The latter group may still apply for graduation; they will need to follow the Late Paper Graduation Application Instructions. We will start taking Late Paper Graduation Applications on October 16th, but we will not schedule appointments until the week of October 24th.  

Step 1: Review the MyProgress Video to verify your current major and graduation status.

Step 2: Review the Transfer Credit Video to verify that ALL your transfer credit is posted.

Step 3: Review the Business Administration Major Form Survey Tutorial Video:

Step 4: Complete this Business Administration Major Form Survey for Spring or Summer 2018 graduation using a laptop or desktop.  Once you start the survey you may stop and return within 1 week to where you left off using the same computer and browser.  Submissions not completed within 1 week will be deleted.  Your completed survey MUST be submitted by Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 am.  Once you complete the survey, you'll receive confirmation via the email you have provided.  A JHSSC advisor will review your survey results within two weeks of submission.

Step 5: Apply for Graduation – Spring or Summer 2018 online through MySJSU by Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 am.

Fall 2018 graduation applications are not accepted until Spring 2018 and if submitted, will be cancelled.  

Please note:  Due to the high volume of students that apply for graduation, the JHSSC advisors only perform a review of your major requirements.  The final review of all requirements (e.g. SJSU, GE, CSU) is completed by the Registrar’s office.  Confirmation of your graduating senior status will be sent to you via email by the Registrar’s Office in the form of a Graduation Worksheet which lists any outstanding requirements.
