 | Dr. Martha Bean, Associate Professor | With her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, Dr. Bean specialized in minority education, oral discourse analysis, teacher education/training and Latino/Mexican-American family discourse. In 1991 Dr. Bean joined Linguistics & Language Development, where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues and was loved by all. Dr. Bean passed away on August 8, 2001. |
