Conventional MBA

A full-time*, traditionally paced cohort program where you will thrive in the rich and vibrant atmosphere of the the San Jose State University campus. This MBA program attracts high achievers from a variety of academic, career, and cultural backgrounds. The Conventional MBA is offered once a year starting in fall with classes beginning in late August. 

Like our other MBA programs, the Conventional MBA prepares students through a broad curriculum of functional core courses, cross-functional and integrative courses, and elective courses. The curriculum consists of fourteen courses: ten required courses and four electives. Elective courses can be selected to target a variety of career-related concentrations. You will take the ten core courses with your cohort, however, you will have flexibility in the selection of the four elective courses.

In the Fall and Spring terms courses typically meet one evening a week for the sixteen week semester cycle. A limited number of electives are available during the Summer terms. Interested in studying abroad? You may also study with partnering schools during the Summer term at the Lucas School. The Conventional MBA program may be completed in 24 months.

  • $45,963.50  for non-residents and International students
