Curriculum - MBA
The College of Business offers general MBA programs; areas of concentration are not declared. However, both the Executive-Style MBA and the Conventional MBA programs allow you to choose 4 electives in areas that interest you. These electives supplement a core of 10 advanced required courses. Each MBA program consists of a total of 14 courses (42 units).
Prerequisite Courses
Depending on a student's previous academic preparation, zero to three prerequisite courses may be required. The required prerequisites are the equivalent of: Principles of Macroeconomics; Principles of Microeconomics; and Business Statistics. Any of the three foundation courses may be waived through evidence of recent prior coursework (within the last seven years with a grade of "B" or better)
Core Courses
There are ten required courses (3 units each). See the detailed course descriptions here . The courses are often prerequisites to electives. Also, BUS 220 is a prerequisite to BUS 270. The final course in the program is BUS 290, Strategic Thinking. This capstone course requires department approval.

Electives
