Opportunities to get involved with MOSAIC include:
Diversity Advocate Intern (DAI) Program
The Diversity Advocate Internship (DAI) positions were created to assist with MOSAIC’s programming, recruitment, and outreaching efforts. The Diversity Advocate Interns play an integral role in the development and operation of MOSAIC. Each DAI is also a peer educator who is responsible for facilitating workshops and creating passive programming on a variety of topics focused on diversity, equity, and social justice issues.
The Graduate Intern is responsible for enhancing the MOSAIC environment through active participation in events, self-exploration of issues of social justice and equity, outreach through programming, and the successful supervision of the Diversity Advocate Intern program. This includes leading, advising, and assisting the department interns in designing and implementing multicultural programs corresponding to MOSAIC’s mission and vision.
The Graphic Designer is in charge of creating and printing all marketing materials for MOSAIC
Student Office Assistants
There are several office assistants that conduct a variety of tasks to help the office run smoothly from checking in volunteers to planning events.
MOSAIC often has opportunities for students who want additional experience to volunteer to work on projects or just lend an extra hand. Many of our volunteers assist us with many crucial tasks such as preparing for an event, helping out with publicity, or visiting classes to share information on our upcoming events. Stop in today to see how you can put your extra time to a good cause!
Attend Our Programs
We offer a wide range of social, cultural, and educational based programs throughout the year. Please go to our Events Calendar page for the most updated list of our programs this year. (And if you're hungry, most of our programs provide free food.)
