Eric Ramones is the Director of Human Resources at Gavilan Joint Community College District and teaches Public Personnel Administration (PADM 215). He has fifteen years of human resources management experience including five years with the San Jose Fire Department. He is on the Human Resources Advisory Committee for the Statewide Association of Community Colleges and on the Board of Directors for the Northern California Community College Pool (joint powers authority).
Eric received his bachelor of arts in sociology from Loyola Marymount University, master’s degree in public administration from San Jose State University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in organizational leadership. He is certified by the International Public Management Association for Human Resources and presents at various conferences within the fields of human resources and higher education leadership.
