NASA-SJSU Faculty Fellowship Program

The Faculty Fellowship Program is designed to give college and university faculty members a rewarding personal as well as enriching professional experience with NASA. The program varies slightly to accommodate the needs of each participating NASA Center, however, the common features of the program include short courses and workshops, tours of the center, seminars and retreats, program evaluation, and social activities for participants and families.

Fellowships are awarded to qualified engineering and science faculty members and other related disciplines for work on collaborative research projects of mutual interest to the fellow and the NASA center. Each fellow will work with a center colleague and will be associated directly with the aeronautics and space program and the concomitant basic research problems.

Stipends are $1,200 per week. A travel allowance is also paid. In addition, a relocation allowance will be provided for those fellows who must relocate their residence. The duration of the fellowships is ten continuous weeks.

For more information about the program, visit their website at www.sjsu.edu/nasa-asee or contact Project Director Dr. Bradley Stone at 408-924-5000.
