What is a MUSE Class?
- A course to help first year students gain the study and learning skills to succeed in college.
- A unique opportunity for students to work closely with a professor to learn how to master a subject.
- A 3-unit GE qualifying course. Students can only take one MUSE course for credit.
- A course to help students feel at home at SJSU and meet other students.
- A fun and exciting experience for first-year students.
Imagine a college class with no more than 18 students all in their first year of college, and with a great professor dedicated to helping you develop skills for success. The MUSE courses are designed to help you master what it takes to be a university student and scholar. These courses also qualify as part of your General Education (GE) requirement.
