Ernie Martinez serves as the Piano Tech at the school of Music and Dance, tuning and reconditioning the pianos and harpsichords in the Music and Dance department. He specializes in tone refinement and action regulation, and he has owned his own company for over 30 years.

He is a single parent raising his twelve-year-old daughter and has an older married daughter and two grandchildren. He enjoys the staff and teachers here at SJSU and feels fortunate to be working for and with such a great bunch of people.
