Ms. Yamakawa Cox provides financial support, coordination, and supervision to all fiscal transactions for the School of Music and Dance. She serves as financial assistant to RTVF, Theatre Arts, and Animation/Illustration. She is Financial Coordinator for the SJSU State Accounts, Tower Foundation, Research Foundation, Scholarship Accounts, Student Assistant Human Resource, and Special Admissions. She serves as Recruitment/Marketing/Website Coordinator, Facilities Liason, and Concert Manager Supervisor.

In her spare time, her life revolves around two active sons that play basketball, baseball, soccer, and flag football. When she manages to get away from SJSU, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and visiting her family in Sonoma. She finds that the best part of working at SMD is being around so many talented students 365 days a year.
