Dr. Rebecca Day Babcock
Rebecca Day Babcock is the William and Ordelle Watts
Professor at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin where she serves as the Chair of the Literature and Languages Department and also directs the University’s Undergraduate Research Program. Her research interests include writing centers, disability, folklinguistics, and metaresearch. Her latest book is Writing Centers and Disability, edited with Sharifa Daniels, from Fountainhead Press. She has also recently published a revised edition of Researching the Writing Center: Towards an Evidence-Based Practice written with Terese Thonus. She has published in DSH: Digital Scholarship in the Humanities, Praxis, The Peer Review, Linguistics and
Education, and The Writing Lab Newsletter among others.
