College of Applied Sciences and Arts (CASA) International Experience Requirement:
The College of Applied Sciences and Arts (CASA) is initiating a requirement for all students in the college to participate in an international experience prior to graduation. The goal of CASA’s international experience requirement is to introduce students to international and intercultural perspectives in order to prepare them to live and work in an increasingly globalized world. FLPs are short-term summer opportunities to travel abroad in order to study or participate in a service learning experience. Students will earn SJSU credits and the experience of a lifetime. Faculty-Led Programs are organized by SJSU faculty members to different parts of the world every summer. Students will get the opportunity to travel with their professor and classmates to their FLP destination.
