Student Resources
Enrollment in Open University includes access to limited benefits available to SJSU students. Additional fees may be incurred.
SJSU Student Enrollment Identification Card
Open University students will be issued Student ID Card at cashing window after registration and tuition payment at the Student Services Center. This card contains your SJSU ID number and the term you are enrolled in. To protect your privacy, this SJSU ID number replaces the use of Social Security Number for most SJSU transactions. This number cannot be changed.
If you lose your SJSU ID card or cannot remember your SJSU ID number, contact info-support@sjsu.edu for assistance.
User ID & Password
Open University students will also receive User IDs and passwords by mail or email (if provided), approximately one month prior to the conclusion of the semester. Grade reports will no longer be mailed to students. Instead, students will use User ID and passwords and retrieve grades from http://my.sjsu.edu within two weeks after the end of classes.
Library
SJSU and the San José Public Library combined their resources and opened their doors to students and non-students. Gain access to books and a wealth of resources not offered with one library card before.
