About

The Occupational Therapy Post-professional Distance Master's program uses the latest web-based online technologies. Students access their courses through the SJSU eCampus webpage using a PIN number and password. Students must have access to a computer and internet connection. A DSL or broadband connection is strongly recommended. Technical support is provided. Students also have access to all library services, including full-text electronic databases, inter-library loan, and consultation with the reference librarian.

The program is a cohort based part-time program that is completed in two years. A new cohort of students is admitted each fall semester. The program is designed to allow maximal flexibility for working occupational therapists. The web-based platform uses posted lectures, discussion groups, chat rooms, email, and podcasts. Students access the courses at a time and place that is convenient for them. The program's constructivist learning model creates a positive learning community where students learn from each other as well as from the instructors.

The Occupational Therapy Post-professional Distance Master's program is presented in cooperation with the San Jose State University Office of International and Extended Studies. For more information, contact:

Pam Richardson, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA
