When you're on campus and have trouble with your car, we are ready to help - free of charge!
Just call 408-924-2222 or use any Blue-light phone (located all over campus and on
all floors of the parking garages). You will be connected to a dispatcher in the University Police Department.
Vanpool Program
Enjoy a direct ride to SJSU on a large passenger van from locations throughout the
Bay Area and Central Valley! Vanpools provide a quick and affordable transportation
option for SJSU employees and students.
Vanpools are a membership-based service primarily designed to serve daily commuters
from around the region. Vanpools generally pick up passengers at carpool Park & Ride
lots and intermodal transportation centers.

Evening Guide Escort Program
The University Police Department offers this free service to all members of the campus community. They will escort you to your car
— up to 2 blocks away from the main campus.
Just call 408-924-2222 or use any Bluelight phone (located all over campus and on
all floors of the parking garages). You will be connected to a dispatcher in UPD.
Shuttle Services
Courtesy shuttle service is available to those who park at the
Park & Ride Lot.
Shuttles run approximately every 10 minutes, from 6:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m., and every 20 minutes from 4:30 p.m. to 10:20 p.m. Monday
Ñ Thursday.
The Park & Ride Lot is closed on Fridays and there is no
shuttle available. However,
Park & Ride
permits are valid in the main campus parking garages on
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
All valid main campus permits are also valid at the Park &
Ride Lot.
