A Valid SJSU Parking Permit is Always Required
Parking regulations enforced 24hr/7days a week
including holidays & weekends.

Commuter Student Permits: (Dates permits is valid for are printed on the permit)

Valid all day in the general parking areas of the South (7th St.), North (10th St.) and West (4th St/San Salvador) Garages, the Park & Ride Lot and the Perimeter Street Parking (3 hours increments). Not valid for overnight parking. Not valid in the Campus Village Garage.

Valid overnight only in the South Garage (7th St) and during the day at the Park & Ride Lot. NOT valid in the Campus Village Garage. Campus Village Parking Permits (CV) are issued through University Housing Services.
Campus Village Permits are NOT valid in the 3 main campus parking garages or lots. Campus Village housing permit can be used at the Park & Ride lot during the day.

Proration
All permit prices begin proration approximately 10 days after the 1st day of classes. The prorated amount is $5.00 to $15.00, per week, depending on the type of permit and applies to purchases and refunds. There is a $10.00 cancellation fee charged on all returned permits. All permits may be returned for a prorated refund anytime prior to the last month valid. This chart is to be used as an example only.
