Software Licenses

Note: A software license is the contractual right to use the software.

Annual

Annual software licenses need to be purchased every year.

  1. Use the Web Requisition process.
  2. You may need to take additional steps. Check ATI Procurement Criteria to see if your order qualifies for the ATI Procurement Process.

Perpetual

Perpetual software licenses are purchased only once and are valid for life.

  1. Use the Web Requisition process.
  2. You may need to take additional steps. Check ATI Procurement Criteria to see if your order qualifies for the ATI Procurement Process.

Important ATI Notice

This is an Electronic & Information Technology (E&IT) product or service.

High Impact Criteria

Regardless of dollar amount, if your purchase of this product/service will affect multiple end-users, CSU policy requires you to follow the ATI Procurement Process (as set forth in CSU Coded Memorandum AA-2009-19External Link that Will Take User Outside SJSU Domain).

Dollar Amount Criteria

If your requisition for this product/service totals $15,000 or more, CSU policy requires you to follow the ATI Procurement Process (as set forth in CSU Coded Memorandum AA-2009-19External Link that Will Take User Outside SJSU Domain).

ATI Procurement Process

  1. Submit a Web Requisition.
  2. Submit an E&IT Procurement Checklist.
