Almost all purchasing for the campus is processed through the SJSU Purchasing Office. Other campus departments have very limited authority to directly procure low value products and services using the SJSU procurement card or direct payment process. All other procurement needs flow through the SJSU Purchasing Office. A Buyer Directory is available to help vendors locate the buyer responsible for the product or service they sell. Marketing directly to buyers by U.S. mail, email and fax is customary. Vendors must first schedule an appointment with the appropriate buyer before visiting the campus.
