Nutrition Education Tools for the South Asian Population

This web page contains culturally sensitive nutrition education tools for the South Asian population (people originating from the countries of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan). South Asians are at highest risk for heart disease and diabetes amongst all ethnicities. These tools have been developed by Ashwini R. Wagle, Ed.D, MS, RD along with graduate students from the Department of Nutrition, Food Science and Packaging as part of the student Master's Projects.
