Bio
Drew earned his Ph.D. in Film Studies from the Department of Communication and Culture at Indiana University, Bloomington. His areas of specialization include: Film history and aesthetics, surrealist art and cinema, crime movies, 1970s American cinema, dandyism, and Bengali filmmaker Satyajit Ray. He has published on these topics in journals and books. When not working, he is ideally spending time with his family, camping in the Sierras, or playing tennis or competitive bridge.
