Bio

I received my PhD in astronomy from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013. As a postdoc, I was a Jansky fellow at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Socorro New Mexico, and also spent time at Steward Observatory in Tucson, Arizona and at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg, Germany. In addition to looking at the center of the Galaxy at radio and millimeter wavelengths, I am interested in visualizing large datasets, effectively mentoring students to give them skills to meet their own career goals, and addressing issues of inclusion and equity in astronomy.
