Early Educator Preparation Program

Through the support of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and SJSU's Lurie College of Education, the Early Educator Preparation Program (EEPP) provides continuous and consistent support to prospective, pre-service, and practicing early childhood educators.

Specific goals include:

  1. Further aligning ECE curriculum across local community colleges and SJSU's undergraduate Child and Adolescent Development (ChAD) degree program.
  2. Offer quality undergraduate curriculum and experiential learning in infant, toddler, and pre-K classrooms to further prepare future teachers.
  3. Help prospective early childhood educators pursue graduate education and transition into the workforce.

Please contact Dr. Emily Slusser, Program Director, if you are interested in contributing to and/or participating in this program. We welcome your support and feedback.
