Expertise Summary


My research interests are in depression among older adults and their use of mental health services. I'm specifically interested in increasing older adults' use of mental health services through individualized education and use of decision aids. Other research interests include qualitative analysis, mixed-methods, and health care decision making among older adults.

I also enjoy speaking to community-based groups of older adults about mental health issues to increase awareness and education about late life depression.
