Dr. Gregg obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2004. She comes to SJSU from the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital, where she spent 5 years treating and doing research with veterans in a variety of settings. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Pyschology Department and a part of the MS in Clinical Psychology graduate program.
Dr. Gregg's research interests include:
- Models of behavioral health care in medical/primary care settings
- Application of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to difficult behavior change
- Avoidance coping and its relation to health
- Dissemination of effective interventions and program evaluation in health care settings
