  • A Life of Opposition: Prudence Crandall and the Saga of Abolition
    1999-3000

Description: I am writing a cultural biography of white abolitionist educator, Prudence Crandall (1803-1890), who opened a high school for Black women in Connecticut in 1833, over strong opposition from her neighbors. I trace how Crandall continued to develop as an activist, spiritualist, and thinker across the nineteenth century.

  • Mary Daly Reader

Description: I am editing the selections for a Mary Daly Reader, in consultation with Mary Daly. We hope to have this book ready for 2010.
