Bio

Judy Reynolds is a member of the emeritus faculty of San Jose State University. She was the library liaison for the English, Foreign Languages and Linguistics departments. Publications include The Role of the Academic Reference Librarian (1990), Evaluating Reference Services (2000), and articles in RQ, College & Research Libraries, Journal of Academic Librarianship, and the Reference Librarian. Her library experience included instruction in library research, reference, collection management, acquisitions, cataloging and circulation. She also taught Humanities Reference and Introduction to Library Research in the San Jose State University Graduate School of Library & Information Science. She was active in professional activities in her fields of library expertise as well as in the area of professional development and salary equity for women and librarians. She was the Chair of the SJSU CFA Political Action Chair Committee and worked for a high quality, affordable university education for all Californians.
