Design of Seismic Resistant Structures
Description
The course is a three-credit introduction to earthquake engineering for seniors interested in structural engineering. The main focus of the course is preparation for the Seismic Principles portion of the California Professional Engineering licensing exam. The course teaches both basics of seismic design related to structural dynamics and the key features of the static design process according to the International Building Code.
