German 1A (Elementary German, First Semester)

Time: M W 8:00 -10:05 a.m.
Location: CL 231 (Clark Building)

Description

This course provides elementary-level studies of the German language and is designed to develop first-year language skills. Various language activities such as listening comprehension, reading, simple paragraph writing as well as exploration of basic grammar aspects will be offered in this course. We will cover the chapters 1-5 of the text. The course emphasizes the process of learning German as a Second Language and creates a foundation for second-semester studies of the German language. At the end of this course, you should be able to function in some of every day language situations.
