Co-Director of LEAD Center, the regional center for the Coalition of Essential Schools
** Teacher leadership development
** Reconceptualizing large high schools as small personalized schools
** Designing new small autonomous schools
• Coordinator of the Master's in Teacher Leadership Program, a collaboration between the Educational Leadership Program at SJSU and over twenty school districts in the region.
** Over 400 teachers have graduated with their Master's degree and Preliminary Administrative Services Credential since l998.
• Author of Fostering Resiliency: Expecting All Students to Use Their Minds and Hearts Well, published by Corwin Press in 1999,as well as over twenty journal articles on leading and managing school change.
