Mary Warner has been teaching English to adolescents for 34 years: nine years in high school and 25 years in post-secondary. Mary currently teaches Young Adult Literature, Children's Literature, and the Bible as Literature at San Jos? State University, where she also is also the Director of the English Credential Program and serves as an Associate Director of the San Jos? Area Writing Project. Warner is the editor and author of two chapters in WINNING WAYS of COACHING WRITING: A PRACTICALl GUIDE to TEACHING WRITING GRADES 7-12; her second book, ADOLESCENTS in the SEARCH FOR MEANING: TAPPING the POWERFUL RESOURCE of STORY was published in March 2006.
