My Ph.D. is in Medieval Studies and my specialty is Old English and Latin Literature of the Middle Ages, including paleography, the study of handwritten manuscripts.
I teach the following courses at SJSU: Classical Backgrounds to English Literature, History of the English Language, Old English, Beowulf, Chaucer, Introduction to Medieval Literature, Mythology in Literature, Modern English (103), Writing Workshop (100W), and Fantasy and Science Fiction.
