Patricia Stroh has been Curator of the Beethoven Center since 1986. In 2000, she took the additional assignment as Librarian for Music and Dance at SJSU. She is an active members of the Music Library Association and serves on the board of the American Beethoven Society.
Patricia's research interests focus on Beethoven bibliography and the history of music printing and publishing in the early 19th century. Her two-part study, "Evolution of an Edition: The Case of Beethoven's Opus 2," was published in the Music Library Association's journal Notes in Dec. 2000 and Sept. 2003. More recently, she published "Beethoven at Auction" (also in Notes) and created the Beethoven Auction Index. She is also co-director of the Beethoven Gateway project.
