NURS 266 Health Care Informatics Special Sessions

This online course examines informatics in health care emphaszing information systems and use of the information technology (IT)applications to support health. Evaluation of actual and potential IT applications in health care administration, practice, research and education is included.
The course is taught by Dr. Victoria Elfrink, an expert in the area at Ohio State University. This is a Special Sessions course. Registration will be on line through Special Sessions, you should receive an email with directions on how to register. Be sure to pay your fees quickly so you are not dropped from the course. Orientation for this course is an immersion day in IS 134A from 9:00am until 4:00PM with Dr. Connolly and Dr. Gonzales. Dr. Elfrink will participate via a two-way video conference in IRC 302 at 12:45PM. Dr. Connolly coordinates the course on campus. Dr. Gonzales will also teach the course online with Dr. Elfrink.
