Bio
Dr. Sean Laraway earned a Ph.D. in the Experimental Analysis of Behavior from Western Michigan University in 2003. Upon graduation, he served as a National Institute on Drug Abuse Post-Doctoral Fellow at Western Michigan University studying the behavioral pharmacology of gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB). Dr. Laraway also holds a graduate certificate in Human Performance Technology from WMU.
Dr. Laraway began teaching at San Jose State University in 2004 as a lecturer. In Fall 2008, he joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor. He currently serves as the Elementary Statistics General Education Coordinator and Associate Director of the Graduate Program in Human Factors/Ergonomics.
His professional interests include learning, motivation, behavior analysis, behavioral pharmacology, drug use and abuse, single-case research designs, and data analysis.
