I did my graduate work in Mathematics with Charles Pugh at the University of California at Berkeley, 1990-1995, followed by visiting positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago ('95-96), University of Southern California ('96-99), and UC Berkeley (Department of Electrical Engineering, 1999-2004). I joined the San Jose State Mathematics faculty as an assistant professor in 2004. My main research interest is geometric theory of dynamical systems.
