Manning, Rita C.
Rita Manning, who makes her professional home in the Department of Philosophy at San Jose State University, is a philosopher with interests that range widely from feminist ethics to philosophy of music. She has published widely and also does philosophy through music and drama. (She's played Frau Nietzsche in a play by her colleague, Peter Hadreas. She collaborated again with Peter in a concert version of Jean-Jacque Rousseau's opera Le Devin du Village.)
